Susana was raised in a family of alcoholics and was abused from a young age. When she was 15, she was trafficked to Guatemala. After nearly a year of unimaginable trauma, an unlikely ally, one of her johns, helped her escape back to Honduras. When she returned, she was homeless and lived on the streets, struggling with a drug addiction. Though her circumstances felt hopeless, the Lord had better plans for her life. She was invited to House of Hope and there, she was saved and transformed through Christ. Now, Susana's life looks completely different. She is on staff at House of Hope Honduras and has a deep love and passion for evangelizing and serving women who have similar stories to hers. Susana’s story is a powerful testament to God’s redeeming love, using a painful past to bring hope and the love of Christ to others.
